Governing Body Sanctioned
Every aspect of the game, its safety and ethos is upheld to the highest standards. All AST Events are sanctioned by the relevant Governing Body and organised in accordance with relevant regulations.
Health & Safety/First Aid
The safety of players & spectators at any AST Events is our number one priority. A fully qualified medical team is present at all AST Events.
All teams are required to complete a Team Registration Form which will include the names, dates of birth & proof of age ID for each player competing as part of the their team at our event. These forms will be signed by the Team Coach when submitted to verify that all details are correct. The AST Event Committee will retain a copy of the Team Registration Form should any queries regarding player age occur. Players registered to compete on the Team Registration Form may only represent their respective teams during an AST Event, players may not represent any other teams during a tournament without prior consent from Aspire Sports Tours. Periodic checks of team sheet’s will be carried out throughout the course of all AST Events.
All players must be able to provide proof of identity and age with a passport or registered player card from their respective country. Poof of age registered prior to the event start date will also be accepted. Please be aware any teams found to be in violation of this rule will be disqualified.
Dispensation will be granted to competing teams teams competing as follows: 7vs7, 8vs8 & 11vs11 = x2 players a maximum of 6 months over the specified age group cut off. Special dispensation requests will be at the Tournament Directors discretion.
AST Event Awards Ceremony
The AST Awards Ceremony at all events will take place on the finals day at the event venue. Teams will take centre stage to be crowned victorious and collect their respective certificates, medals and specially designed AST Event Trophy in front of all their fans.
If match officials decide one team should change shirts due to a clash with opponents playing colours the Away Team for the fixture (listed second on fixtures) must change to an alternative playing strip.
All Referees and Match Officials are fully qualified within their respected Regional Governing Bodies. Please ensure resect is given to all Match Officials at all stages of any AST Events. Aspire Sports Tours does not condone any disrespect towards Match Official or AST Event Staff and disciplinary & Event Removal may occur against any team or individuals who do not abide by this rule.
Any player given two yellow cards in the same match will result in a red card and sending off. If a player is shown a red card, he or she is automatically given a 1 fixture suspension for the following fixture. In extreme circumstances the AST Event Committee will make a final decision on further match suspensions if an offence is deemed to be “Overly Dangerous”. Yellow cards are not accumulated on a game to game basis but severe repeated offenders will be reported to the AST Event Committee for review.
If a team misses a fixture or is late appearing without a valid reason they will automatically forfeit the match. If a team repeatedly misses fixtures they will be reported to the AST Event Committee and may be disqualified. Please be aware the AST Event Committee reserves the right to remove a team following a first offence if a deliberate act of missing a fixture gives their team an advantage or is unfair on another team in the group.
Disputes & Grievances
If any team wishes to make a formal dispute the team manager may bring this to the AST Event Committee’s attention. Disputes must be delivered to the AST Event Committee within 10 minutes of the fixture finishing, any actions reported by Match Officials regarding the dispute will be taken as fact. With all logged disputes the decision made by the AST Event Committee is final.
Scouts In Attendance
Scouts from Professional & Academy Clubs will be invited to attend various AST Events including the likes of Manchester United, Manchester City, Swansea City, Everton, Celtic & Arsenal to name a few.
AST Exchanging Of Pennants
Although this is not compulsory, it is tradition for teams to exchange a pennant or small commemorative moment before games.
ATTENTION: Accommodation for your entire group including players, coaches, managers & spectators to attend any AST Events must be booked through Aspire Sports Tours. If any of your group do not book through Aspire Sports Tours, they will not be able to participate in the event. The only exception to this rule are “Local Entry” teams who are invited to participate at the event to ensure the best experience for all in attendance.
On Arrival at your chosen AST Event you will be given one wristband for each member of your group booked through Aspire Sports Tours. Please note any persons without a wristband will not be able to use shuttles, accommodation or facilities at the event.
Tour Deposits & Final Balance
Tour Deposits to all AST Events are available through our UK Head Office on +44 (0)1792 872772, you will need to secure each member of your tour group with a deposit by a set date. The final balance of your tour will be due no later than 10 weeks before the event takes place.
As soon as you know that you will be cancelling your tour you need to inform Aspire Sports Tours UK Head Office in writing or via email. Please note Cancellation Charges may be applicable. All Tour Deposits are non-refundable.
Aspire Sports Tours always recommends you have sufficient travel insurance before leaving for your tour. Please contact us for more information. We strongly recommend that all participating teams, if they are not already covered, should take out insurance cover for risks such as “Personal Accident or Injury”, “Loss or Damage of Personal Property” ect.
Passports & Visas
It is your responsibility to be in possession of a valid passport and any necessary visas, or health documents, as required, for the entire duration of your tour, and to ensure that you meet the entry requirements of the countries that you are travelling to. Requirements may change and you must check the up to date position in good time prior to departure. The name in the passport must match the name on your ticket where provided. We cannot accept liability, or consider refunds if you cannot travel, because of incomplete, or incorrect documentation. Passenger information is required in advance by a number of countries. It is your responsibility to provide this information to us as instructed. Failure to do so may result in you being denied boarding or refused entry to your destination. Emergency Contact Details may also be required. It is your responsibility to provide this information and you will be liable for any costs incurred.
Any flight recommendations made to you will not include the cost of the actual flight and are purely a recommendation based on past traveling teams flight plans (i.e departure location, arrival location, timings).
When recommending flight times/locations Aspire Sports Tours staff will be happy to assist you in organizing the ideal locations.
Health & Travel Advice
It is your responsibility to check with your doctor at least two months prior to departure for the latest requirements, recommendations and any associated costs. A copy of the ‘Health Advice for Travellers issued by the Department of Health can be provided upon request. It is your responsibility to check any country related travel advice before embarking on your trip. Specifically any advice issued by the British Foreign and Commonwealth Office: www.gov.uk/knowbeforeyougo.
Disability & Special Requirements
If you have any disability or special requirements, please mention this at the booking stage to one of the AST Tour Specialists who can then advise on the available options.
Behaviour & Code Of Conduct
Please read our AST Code Of Conduct Available Here before attending any AST Events to ensure the enjoyment of all participants.
In the rare occurrence of an AST Event having insufficient entries in any age group to go ahead, you will be offered an alternative event. If there us not an alternative AST Event which is acceptable for you and tour team then you will receive a refund of any Tour Balance Payments made.
